Ed Stetzer posted today about USA Today’s report on recently released data revealing the spiritual views of Millennials (those born between 1980-1991). You can find this post HERE.
In the post he links to the discussion going on in the comments of the USA Today Report. The official news release from Lifeway is HERE. And a post from Thom Rainer (author of a book based on the data) can be found HERE. You can download the actual presentation at the bottom of Stetzer’s post.
To gain a better understanding on the spiritual views of this generation of college students it would be worth your time reading these post. Rainer’s book should prove to be insightful when it is released.
What are your thoughts on it?

“They take their faith seriously, and they have little patience with churches that focus most of their resources on the members.”
Is your faith serious is you never become an active part of a church family? Seems like many of the students are either looking for the perfect church family or they feel like they are missing out if they are not involved in multiple Bible studies and multiple groups or churches.
I’m not talking about an inward focused church family. I’m talking about a biblically healthy church family that is an active/ missional part of their community.
Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like so many students are confused about where they are suppose to be as a believer so they just bounce all over the place.
